How Does the Rublon MFA for Stormshield Work?
First, you deploy the Rublon Authentication Proxy and configure it to work with your Stormshield firewall either via RADIUS or LDAP. After the configuration is complete, Rublon will enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Stormshield VPN connections.
Rublon Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) safeguards an organization’s data and access to networks, servers, and applications. By adding an extra authentication step, Rublon MFA prevents hackers from exploiting user passwords to gain VPN access. This robust Two-Factor Authentication process enhances security and protects against potential threats.
Rublon’s authentication methods for Stormshield VPN include Email Link, Passcode (TOTP), SMS Link, YubiKey OTP, and Mobile Push.

If a user cannot complete the secondary authentication method, Rublon denies access to Stormshield VPN. Only after completing all authentication steps can the user connect to the VPN.
