We are happy to inform you that starting from version 1.1.0, our MFA for Outlook Web App (OWA) connector also supports MFA for Exchange Control Panel (ECP). This means that Rublon will also protect logins to the Exchange Admin Center (EAC) in Exchange Server with Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
How to Enable MFA for Exchange Control Panel (ECP)?
Starting from version 1.1.0, the Rublon MFA for OWA connector enables MFA for both Outlook Web App (OWA) and Exchange Control Panel (ECP) so that both users and administrators can stay secure.
Check the following step-by-step guide on how to enable it:

How Does the Rublon Multi-Factor Authentication for Exchange Control Panel (ECP) Work?
Rublon MFA provides extra security to Outlook user and admin logins, making it impossible for hackers to access accounts, even if they have the password. By installing the OWA connector, Rublon adds a second authentication factor to Outlook Web Access (OWA) and Exchange Control Panel (ECP) logins, keeping accounts secure from hackers.
After the user enters their password, Rublon requires them to finish a secondary authentication step. The user can pick the method on the Rublon Prompt. Available authentication methods are Email Link, Mobile Passcode (TOTP), QR Code, Mobile Push, SMS Passcode, and WebAuthn/U2F Security Key.

If the user does not complete the secondary authentication method, Rublon will not grant them access to Outlook on the web.

What to Do If I Installed an Earlier Version of Rublon MFA for OWA Before?
If you have already installed a previous version of the Rublon for Outlook Web App connector, refer to Updating MFA for OWA and ECP.
