What is Offline Mode?
Offline Mode is a new feature that enables users to log in to their Windows machines even when they do not have access to the internet. This is particularly beneficial for those working in remote locations or during internet outages.
How Does It Work?
In Version 4.2.0, the first to support Offline Mode, the Rublon for Windows connector allows for offline logins into Windows using the Passcode authentication method. Users can install the Rublon Authenticator mobile app on their smartphones to start generating Time-based One-Time Passwords (TOTP). The current TOTP code can be used to authenticate and gain access to a Windows machine even if it is offline.
