We are thrilled to announce a significant enhancement to our Rublon MFA for RD Web connector. The Remembered Devices Policy is now fully supported during RD Web Client logins, allowing users to remember their devices while logging in via the Remote Desktop Web Client. And the best thing is, you don’t even have to update your connector. Remembered Devices should now start working during RD Web Client logins out of the box.
What’s New?
Previously, our Rublon MFA for Remote Desktop Web connector did not support the Remembered Devices policy. This limitation is now a thing of the past. With our latest update to the Rublon API, you can now take full advantage of the Remembered Devices policy when accessing the RD Web Client.
What Do I Have to Do?
Absolutely nothing! The Remembered Devices Policy should now automatically work during RD Web Client logins. Neither administrators nor users need to take any action.
Why You Should Use Remembered Devices
Logging in to your applications multiple times a day can be cumbersome when faced with multi-factor authentication (MFA) each time. If you trust your current device and prefer to undergo MFA only once a day (or at specific intervals), the Remembered Devices feature is tailor-made for you.
Rublon recognizes the devices you use to access applications. Users can request Rublon to remember these trusted devices. After successfully verifying their identity using Rublon Multi-Factor Authentication, users are given the option to designate their device as a Remembered Device. With Remembered Devices, subsequent logins won’t require MFA, ensuring a seamless user experience.
