Not only does our big September update introduce new features, but it also unlocks possibilities that have not been available before. One of these possibilities is Remembered Devices for Windows Logon.
Remembered Devices for Windows Logon
Remembered Devices is readily available for you if you use Rublon for Windows 2.4.0 or later.
Remembered Devices is now available for local Windows logons. Users who log in to their local Windows machines can now ask Rublon to remember their machines. A remembered machine bypasses Rublon 2FA during logons.

Users who choose to remember their devices enjoy the benefits of the Trusted Devices feature. Remembered Devices for Windows Logon works just like for other applications, connectors, and services.
Security Considerations
Remembering your device always comes with a security risk. A machine that bypasses Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) can be an easy target for a malicious actor who tries to gain unauthorized access to the machine.
To mitigate risks associated with Remembered Devices, administrators should adjust the Remembered Devices time to the risk profile of each application. 1 day is the recommended value for medium-risk logins, while 7 days is fitting for low-risk logins. We recommend you do not allow users to remember their devices when logging into high-risk applications.
As a security measure, Rublon does not allow users to remember their devices during RDP logins.
