How Does the Rublon MFA for Check Point Mobile Access Work?
First, you deploy the Rublon Authentication Proxy and configure it to work with your Check Point CloudGuard Next-Gen Firewall. After the configuration is complete, Rublon will enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for Mobile Access VPN logins.
No matter how much a hacker knows about a user’s password, Rublon MFA ensures that they can’t gain access to an organization’s VPN. By providing an additional authentication step, Rublon MFA prevents potential hackers from stealing important data. The secure Two-Factor Authentication process adds an extra layer of security to protect organizations from potential threats.
Rublon’s authentication methods for Check Point Mobile Access include Email Link, Mobile Passcode (TOTP), and Mobile Push.
If the user is unable to complete the secondary authentication method, Rublon will refuse access to Check Point Mobile Access VPN. The user will only be allowed to connect to the VPN after they have completed all authentication steps.
