Rublon Authenticator

Secure access to cloud and on-premise apps by transforming your mobile devices into software tokens

Last updated on July 23, 2025

Turn your users’ mobile devices into secure authentication tokens with the Rublon Authenticator mobile app. Rublon Authenticator is free and available for iOS and Android.

Easy, One-Tap Authentication

The fastest and easiest way to authenticate is Mobile Push. This authentication method sends push notifications to users’ mobile devices and asks them to verify their identity by tapping the approve button. Fraudulent attempts to access company data are stopped when users tap the deny button.

Offline Login with Mobile Passcode

Users who are traveling or experience a lack of internet connectivity on their mobile devices for any other reason can still authenticate to their applications. Even when you’re offline, Rublon Authenticator generates offline Mobile Passcode based on Time-Based One-Time Passwords (TOTP).

Easy Account Management

Rublon authenticates users based on the usernames of their accounts. After you add an account to the Rublon Authenticator, you can authenticate via Mobile Push, Mobile Passcode, and QR Code. You can add multiple accounts to Rublon Authenticator.

Biometric Lock

Access to the Rublon Authenticator app can be secured using a PIN code or a biometric lock that uses Touch ID on iOS and fingerprint sensors on Android devices. It is also possible to enable a Face Recognition lock on mobile devices that support this feature.

Out-of-Band Authentication (OOB/OOBA)

Rublon Authenticator is compliant with the definition of Out-of-Band Devices in section 5.1.3 of the NIST SP 800-63B Digital Identity Guidelines on Authentication and Lifecycle Management.

Multiple Devices Per User

Users can install Rublon Authenticator on more than one mobile device. If a user installs Rublon Authenticator on a new mobile device, they can use both devices to authenticate to applications integrated with Rublon.

Users can install Rublon Authenticator on a new device without an administrator’s approval.

Coming soon: Set a policy that will require administrators to approve each installation of Rublon Authenticator on a new device.
