SMS Rates

If you want to use SMS Passcode or SMS Link, you need to purchase Phone Credits in the Rublon Admin Console.

Only administrators with the role Owner or Billing can buy Phone Credits.

The number of Phone Credits required for a single text message varies depending on the destination country and the SMS provider used for your organization. Twilio is used by default. GatewayAPI may be used for eligible European organizations when it is enabled for the organization.

For Twilio, the rates below are indicative and used to verify that enough Phone Credits are available before sending. The actual number of Phone Credits is calculated after the SMS is sent based on the actual Twilio cost and is visible in the Phone Logs in the Rublon Admin Console. For GatewayAPI, the rates below are the number of Phone Credits charged per SMS. Refer to How much for a text message in my country? for more information.

The applicable SMS rate depends on your organization’s billing country and SMS routing configuration. European SMS rates apply to eligible organizations whose billing country is in the EEA or one of the additional supported European countries, including Switzerland, the United Kingdom, Ukraine, and Turkey, and for which European SMS routing has been enabled. All other organizations use the standard SMS rates.

The applicable rate is determined by your organization’s billing country, not by the destination country of an individual SMS message.
